In this approachable, beginner-friendly class, you'll learn how to mix, shape, and bake two essential breads: a rustic open-bake boule and soft dinner rolls. We’ll focus on proper hydration, kneading by hand, bulk fermentation, shaping techniques, and how to bake crusty bread without specialty equipment.
You’ll leave with fresh baked bread, dough to bake at home, and the confidence to start baking real bread from scratch in your own kitchen.

This ticket admits one participant to the Bread Basics: Boules & Rolls class on Sunday, July 20 at Baked Studios DSM. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to mix, knead, shape, and bake a classic open-bake boule and a batch of soft dinner rolls. Each participant will take home fresh-baked bread, unbaked dough, and a printed recipe packet. No prior experience needed. Open to adults and teens age 14+ with a purchased ticket.
