About the event
Kids will get hands-on in this fun and approachable pastry class focused entirely on cream puffs! Each child will learn how to make pâte à choux (the base dough for cream puffs and éclairs), pipe their own puffs, and bake them to golden perfection. Then we’ll fill them with fresh whipped vanilla cream and finish with a drizzle of chocolate glaze and sprinkles.
This class is designed for kids ages 8–12 and is a great introduction to working with pastry. We’ll cover how to measure ingredients, safely work with heat, and learn fun decorating techniques to bring each puff to life.
Each participant will go home with a box of their finished cream puffs and a printed recipe to recreate the magic at home.
Age Group: Ages 8–12 (drop-off OK and/or adults may attend with purchase of ticket)

This ticket admits one participant (child or adult) to the Choux for Two: Kids’ Cream Puff Class on Saturday, July 12 at Baked Studios DSM. Designed for kids ages 8–12, this class welcomes adults who’d like to join the fun—just purchase a separate ticket. Each ticket includes full hands-on instruction, all ingredients and tools, an individual box of cream puffs to take home, and a printed recipe card.
